a shift in consciousness
I found a bunch of scapped and destroyed paintings of mine tonight, it’s interesting to see my old work.
I was just telling a friend today that the piece I’m working on now is very important to me because it the start of not of a new collection but a a change in my style of painting that I’ve been working towards all these years, it’s the sign of things to come, and finding those old paintings are an example of what I had invisioned in my mind but it wasn’t ready to fully be transformed on to canvas yet.
It feels good to be obsessed again and knowing that I’m going in the right direction regardless of what some people may think of my work.
I know my work is true and comes straight from the soul.
